First off, we did enjoy our stay. It's a lovely little spot, out of the way where we enjoyed some peace and quiet. Check in was a little bumpy, because we received our final communication from Ana for check in while we were on the island, but there was no instructions on where to go or how to find it. This was resolved, but only on the day of.
The bigger issue, which the owner/managers had no control over was that we had to pack up and leave a day early because of a wildfire enveloping the valley in front of us. We were out hiking for day and came back to fire, smoke and all sorts of emergency vehicles on the road. We packed up ans were out within an hour.
I have to say that we were disappointed with the assistance that we received from the managers. There was little communication from them while this was going on and no follow up to make sure that we got settled somewhere else. We ended up booking a hotel near the airport.
