The positives for the apartment are that the hosts are really trying to make it nice, the furniture is good, bed linen and towels are good quality, tea and coffee in the kitchen. Our check-in instructions advised we would be met at the property and we had to book a check in time, however after waiting for a while I phoned to be told the keys were in a key safe. The front of the property is not very nice at all, it looks very unloved and once you have collected the keys you are not allowed to use the front door. The host told us they were in a dispute with the neighbour who had changed the lock. We had to go about 4 doors up the road to access the back of the property. The back car park is very rough, and you have to pass by a communal space with peoples washing lines and over grown lawns to get to the back door. Once you get there you are greeted with signs in the neighbours window threatening legal action if anyone dares to cross the boundary of their property or land. Given you have no idea where you can or cannot walk we expected some sort of confrontation from the neighbour. After one night we left and checked into a hotel. If weird neighbours do not worry you the internal aspect of the apartment is fine, but we couldn't get past the neighbour issue and the rather unpleasant outside areas. I did not contact the host as when we booked in and I expressed surprise about not being able to use the front I was told, rather matter of fact, that it was not a problem - however if was for me.
