Leiligheten ligger i en "gyldne triangel", på lik avstand fra Saint-Germain des Prés-kirken, St. Supice 'kirke og Bon Marché. Med IKT Livius gater, leiligheten nytte av Mange anlegg bare nedover bygningen (tube station, buss, supermarked) og er på seks minutter gangavstand fra Luxembourg hagen.

Luxury Residence: Leiligheten, Whose området er 90 kvadratmeter, er gjort opp med to soverom, et stort oppholdsrom / spisestue, kjøkken utstyrt år (ovn, oppvaskmaskin, mikrobølgeovn), bad (vaskemaskin og tørketrommel) og separat vannklosett. Truly wonderful stay in Frederic's St. Germaine Flat ....

Truth in Advertising. This wonderful, comfortable, feels like you live in the most fantastic neighborhood in Paris, flat is EXACTLY what is advertised in Home Away. We are a family of 4, our kids are 20 years old, who are just starting to experience international travel. Frederic's flat is perfectly located, easy access to all the sites, and FOOD, well we walked out the door and there were an "embarrassment of riches" of cafes, fantastic shopping and adventure. I particularly loved the area which was bustling but the flat is situated in a courtyard so it was always so quiet. Frederic has everything and then some stocked , so grateful for the extra adapters. Ruth and her cousin he greeted us and bid us a warm adieu were lovely and so helpful.

I cannot wait to of Back to PARIS and I would definitely want to stay here again.

OK but not great. Somewhat overpriced for what it is.

Overall - this place is ok but a little expensive for what it is. We’ve stayed in many apartments in Paris and this one is fine but nothing special especially considering the price. The location is convenient for the 6th and the apartment despite being on Rue de Rennes is very quiet. The pictures make it seem nicer then it is though. I stayed there with my wife and 2 younger kids (they shared a bed). Decent layout. Floors need desperately to be redone. I understand old floors (I used to live in a very old home myself) but the subfloor feels as if it’s going to cave through at any minute which was somewhat unsettling. Certain areas are particularly bad. More area rugs would help this. The water heater in the kitchen cabinet was another concern. I imagine it’s fine but when the cabinet door is closed, the wood is very hot to the touch so we left it open just to be safe as you can see the open flame of water heater which is only a few inches away from cabinet door. I’m not sure something like this would pass code. And I don’t say this as an ignorant tourist (again I travel to Paris on work a few times a year). Bedroom linens are nice and master bed was comfortable. Flatware in kitchen should be upgraded - very cheap silverware. Wine opener was also extremely cheap and difficult to use. Little things like this that certainly don’t cost much at an IKEA, etc. (which would suffice for a rental) make a huge difference. There’s only one toilet in the hallway and then one shower in a separate part of the hallway which is fine but if there were two couples traveling together might be an issue. For us - it wasn’t ideal but manageable. WiFi is also extremely slow - router should be upgraded - as it was difficult for more than one person to check email, stream music, etc. at once. And signal is only strong enough - if that - in living room. Ruth, the cleaning lady, was very nice and helpful. Frederic, the owner, was also very helpful and quick to reply. Only other concern was how they handled the security deposit. It was requested to bring 500 euro cash as a deposit. We accidentally overlooked this and they made an exception - but the whole thing seemed a little sketchy. I would rather they handle the deposit via HomeAway so there’s more accountability on their end. We got used to the apartment and it was fine, but wouldn’t stay there again given the price/value relationship. Ruth and Frederic were very nice, so apologies to them if seeming too critical.

Very nice apartment!

My husband, one of our sons and I spent a week in the apartment and had a great time. it is very confortable, exactly as described in the rental, well equipped, clean, and in an excellent location. The only thing it did not work well was the wifi, as aparently there were working going on in the area that affected it. I definetly would come back.

A great place to experience Paris over the holidays

My wife, daughter and I spent a little over 2 weeks at Frederic's apartment in Saint Germaine des Pres. The apartment is lovely! This is a spacious apartment with great facilities - the bath and kitchen are all new and top notch. The refrigerator in particular was very large for a Paris apartment and would appeal to American tastes. (We ate in about 50% of our meals while we were there.) The apartment has 2 bedrooms which are spacious and comfortable. The storage in the bedrooms (and throughout the apartment) is incredible. Quite unusual for Paris.

In addition to the facilities, the location is superb. You are across the street from one of the main metro lines and 3 blocks away from two others. In addition, there is a bus stop right in front of the apartment exit and another just around the corner: though the bus system is complex enough that it can take some time to master. There is a Monoprix 2 blocks away (our favorite for everyday shopping in Paris), a Carrefour City (a smaller supermarket, but still quite useful particularly for heavier fare like milk and water) and a Marks & Spencer 4 blocks away (a British Supermarket that has a lot of imported items). One should not overlook the open air market that takes place on the Boulevard Raspail (3 blocks away) every Wednesday and Sunday. There is a wide variety of goods available at this market and the experience alone is worth a visit.

If there is one drawback to the apartment, it is the beautiful parquet wood floors. While they are very beautiful, they are also very old. As a consequence, they move when you walk on them and they squeak against the adjacent boards. We learned to live with it, but it was a little disconcerting at first.

I highly recommend this apartment.

Perfekt flat in St. Germain de Pres

This enchanting flat has every comfort you need and is - you would not belive it in a big town like Paris - absolutely quiet!

Ruth the very friendly contact person and cleaning woman keeps the flat extremly clean and cosy!
