Magnifiquement situé à Londres dans une rue calme du quartier de Notting Hill, à proximité immédiate du métro, ce duplex bien aménagé et très fonctionnel est idéal pour un séjour court ou plus long, suivant les envies.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli et nous avons apprécié la disponibilité et la réactivité de notre hôte avant pendant et même après notre séjour (ayant oublié un trousseau de clés dans notre chambre le propriétaire a eu la gentillesse de nous le renvoyer à notre domicile en France)

Nous recommandons cette adresse et nous espérons avoir la possibilité d'y retourner prochainement

Utleierkommentar: Beautifully located in London in a quiet street of Notting Hill, close to the metro, this well-appointed and functional duplex is ideal for a short stay or longer, according to your desires. We were very well received and we appreciated the availability and responsiveness of our host before during and even after our stay (having forgotten a bunch of keys in our room the owner was kind enough to send it back to our home in France ) We recommend this address and we hope to have the opportunity to return soon Sophie and Jean-Pierre

Amazing location and great host!

Central location and modern apt near main tube locations. Great tour books for reference as well in the flat. Great for a family or a few friends. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating with our schedules. You can’t go wrong here ( :

Comfortable and convenient

We are a family of four (teen aged daughters) who spent a very enjoyable long weekend in this well-appointed flat. The location is superb; within a few blocks of everything but tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac. The space worked well for our family, although it would have been more convenient to have the second bath on the ground floor. Furnishings and equipment were in good condition, beds were very comfortable, and kitchen had all the essentials. Pryan responded quickly to all our communications and had someone waiting with the key when we arrived. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good Location & Owner, but not quite what advertised & needs a bit of maintenance

First the Good; The owner and contact in London were very prompt and professional to work with. The location is good as it's close to Notting gate station with the central and district lines both available. Notting Hill and the Portobello markets are a great area for tourists. Perhaps not as central to tourist areas as being south of Hyde park. 2 bathrooms are very helpful to have. Most furnishings in the apartment are of good quality. The renovations were good quality for what they are. Wifi worked flawlessly.

The 'Not so Good'; The apartment doesn't look out on the street as the photos might lead you to believe, but is at the back of the building, so looks out on a brick wall and other windows about 10 feet away. The apartment is actually about 700 square feet, not 1000. Not a big deal, but the extra 300 feet would have been nice for 4 people to have to use. There is a need for a bit of maintenance: many tiles in one bathroom are broken and are a hazard to cut bare feet, the couch cover was worn and torn and covered up by a blanket, the dining chairs are all rickety and fragile, there is a hole about 2 feet square in the kitchen wall showing pipes etc. I suspect if the owner knows about these issues they will be rectified.

Great flat!! Comfy New Beds! Convenient Location

The property is very nice and comfortable. The flat was over the top. I really enjoyed to new beds. I slept like a rock. I have only positive memories of staying here. Our coffee was excellent. Thank you so much!!

Great Location / Poor Owner Care

There's no doubt that the location of this flat is excellent. Less than two blocks from the Tube, across the street from Hyde Park, lots of great restaurants and pubs around, lovely neighborhood. However, we can't recommend it because it is just not being cared for. None of the things mentioned in past reviews - many from years ago - have been addressed. Peeling paint, grimy furniture, terrible mattresses, etc, etc., remain. During our stay, the instructions for dealing with a wi-fi failure were out of date, instructions for modifying heating didn't work, and, most disturbingly, the owner didn't bother to investigate the ceiling leak in the kitchen until day three of our stay, or get a plumber to fix it until day four, effectively making it impossible to use the kitchen as there was water on the stove, countertop and floor. With a minimum of effort (and expense), this place could be just wonderful, but it seems that until people stop staying there, the effort is not going to be made.

If you DO decide to stay, remember that the bathroom for bedroom number two is upstairs (up a narrow spiral staircase) and that the beds are not US sizes: the king in the master is really a US queen, and the queen in the second bedroom is really a US double.

Please note If I'm able to get a booking for the dates that have been cancelled and feel the reasoning for the cancelation was genuine and or unforeseen, I will try my best to help return funds as much as possible, as I'm not looking to double book the property and make extra profit due to others misfortune and believe in karma. Please note this will be totally at my discretion thou.
