Comfy home away from home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely flat. Lorna was kind enough to let us check in early after our long flight. We loved eating breakfast in the sunny dining room next to the garden. It was just a short walk from a tube station and very close to Notting Hill. Would definitely recommend this place for a couple.

Very clean, well stocked, comfortable, convenient
We really liked this apartment and will consider coming back again. Charming decor and furniture. Everything you could want is provided. It is 5 minutes from the Ladbroke Grove underground station and there are many shops near the station including a grocery store open until midnight. Portobello Road market is half a block away.
There's a bit of traffic noise from the motorway if you're in the garden, but it can't be heard from the bedroom.
Altogether a great find.

Great location, excellent accommodations and host. One block off Portabella market and one block from the underground made this a stellar location for the price. There are restaurants, grocery stores and shops in the direct area. The flat was clean, and well appointed. Special thanks to Lorna for providing milk, tea and coffee to get us started. We had a great time in London and it was an easy underground trip to everything we wanted to visit. Uber also picked up quickly. We will be back!

Nice experience ... once we got organized and used to the apartment.
A lovely apartment ... but the neighborhood was quite run down... and the entry (down steep stairs and into the below ground floor apartment) was surprising and could be challenging for many. Lovely art work and decor ... too bad the garden overlooks a freeway overpass! Too much furniture jammed into this nice Pied a terre.
Very sad. This is the first, and only person in six years, not to have been 100% happy. The steps to the front door are mentioned in the description on the website and it is made clear that this is not for someone on crutches or unsteady on their feet. The location map makes it plain that the apartment is near the Westway but as the whole place is double glazed, it hasn't bothered anyone up until now. It certainly hasn't kept anyone awake as the bedroom is at the front of the apartment. This is a basement flat but it is ground level at the back with a pretty garden - very typical of Notting Hill Gate. The question of furniture and the local area is very subjective - Notting Hill is not Knightsbridge and it attracts a very different clientele. The photos on the website are very accurate and you can rely on the place being exactly as in the pictures. People tend to choose Notting Hill because it is very trendy and very convenient (only 300 yards to the tube and buses). I hope others will enjoy the place - as I have done over many years!

Could not have had a more comfortable, convenient and attractive place to return to each day. The owner was so helpful and responsive and went out of her way to make sure all was well for us. The apartment was well equipped with everything one could possibly need. We look forward to our return. The tube and buses just round the corner.

Heathrow er 30 minutter unna med taxi eller tube (Piccadilly og Hammersmith & City Line). Gatwick og Stansted kan begge nås med t-banen med den nærmeste t-banestasjonen er Ladbroke Grove som går direkte til Liverpool Street (for Stansted) og Paddington (for Heathrow Express). Victoria for Gatwick er en endring bort på Baker Street. Det er nok av drosjer som tjenesten alle de viktigste linjestasjoner eller kjøre direkte til en hvilken som helst flyplass i London.
Notting Hill ligger i et boligområde i West London og alle steder av interesse i London kan nås med offentlig transport innen 15 minutter (West End-teatrene og restauranter) eller rundt 45 minutter til steder som Kew Gardens, O2 Arena og Greenwich.
Lokale fasiliteter inkluderer sen kveld shopping på Tesco og Sainsbury både selger alt fra ferskt kjøtt og grønnsaker til grunnleggende dagligvarer og begge med minibanker.
