Dette er en nydelig 1 roms leilighet i Dobrota, som ligger på Kotorbukta, bare 5kms fra World Heritage Site av Kotor. Det har fantastisk utsikt over bukten og fjellene rundt direkte fra stue og fra terrassen. Det har air-condition, Wi-Fi, TV og et fullt utstyrt kjøkken. Soverommet inneholder en dobbeltseng. Salongen har en dobbel sovesofa. Det er også en blåser opp madrassen, og barneseng, så 4 voksne lett kan tilpasses. Badet inneholder vask, dusj og en full størrelse vaskemaskin.

Terrassen vender mot havet og et bord og stoler er gitt.

Det er avsatt parkering og felles svømmebasseng som er holdt i utmerket tilstand av administrerende agenter. Ferskt brød er tilgjengelig hver dag fra det lokale bakeriet, og det er tre matbutikker innen ti minutters gange til andre bestemmelser.

Spacious modern apartment with stunning views

A lovely clean modern apartment with spacious living accommodation. Kitchen was well equipped (we cooked a couple of evenings), plenty of cupboard space. Management rep (Daniel) was helpful on arrival and we saw him around most days at the apartment should you have any queries/requests. 10 min walk to the supermarket and the same for a couple of local bars/restaurants. Bit of a hill to climb (!) but the views from the apartment and pool were amazing - fabulous sunset. We also used the numerous jetties along the front, swimming in the bay is lovely. We stayed a week then moved into Kotor for a week (over the other side of the bay) both with great views but Richard's apartment just pipped it because of the stunning sunsets! Would recommend Dubroto, less going on than in Kotor but just right for relaxing and unwinding. We used Red taxis to get around (and the bus) we emailed them to make a booking and visited a few different places (We decided to not hire a car), taxis are very reasonable and efficient. Thank you Richard for a fab holiday 😁

A great apartment in a wonderful location

I think we made a very good choice in this apartment in Dobrota. We took quite a while to choose this apartment and I'm glad we did. All the services you might want were catered for including wifi which many other apartments close by did not offer. The views are simply staggering and I must have filled a memory stick with photos from the balcony! A great pool again with marvellous views.

Although there is a short climb to the apartment this is offset by the views that are on offer the further up the hill you go. The traffic noise from the main road is also reduced.

We walked into Kotor which took us approx 40 mins but it's a lovely walk if you take the smaller road by the waters edge. There are a few restaurants on this road and amongst our favourites were Portun and Ellas, the Babilon wasn't bad but they did make a few cock-ups (scallops on the menu but delivered mussels!). Not so much in the way of bars, I think there were a couple towards the northern end of the smaller road past the local Aroma convenience store and the church.

We drove to Dubrovnik one day which took approx 1 hr 45mins, we left early and we got through the border in no time at all. Worth a visit if you have the time but quite expensive (£40 to park for 8 hours!).

Kotor Old Town is like a mini Dubrovnik and we liked it very much, great to walk around with plenty of shops and restaurants. When we visited in early September it wasn't too busy but traffic did build up at certain parts of the day (outside of the old town). I can imagine it can be very bad in the height of Summer.

We hired a car locally for 9 days and I think it's worth having as you can visit Lovcen and Sveti Stefan. Beware local taxi drivers! They can be rather erratic! Be careful not to use the private taxi firms either as they charge about 3x the amount of the 'city' taxis (mainly white with red writing on them) I think the local number is 19719 to call them.

Mira and Daniel were most helpful and we didn't have any problems.

All in all, a most enjoyable holiday and one we will probably repeat sometime in the future.

Great apartment with the view to die for :)

The apartment is just great: spacious, designed with taste and stunning view. Either morning coffee or evening glass of wine definitely taste better at this terrace :)

The beach is also 10 min walk downhill. The slope is really steep, and as we have two kids, we preferred driving to the Aura market, leaving the car at the parking and then walked 2 minutes to the beach. But if you feel sporty enough you may enjoy walking :)

The kitchen is fully equipped and the market is within 10 minutes walk (or 2 minutes drive), so you can cook. Kotor town is 10-15 minutes drive away, the old town fortress is definitely a place to see.

Swimming pool is not large, but is a great alternative to the beach if you are tired to walk. The sunbeds, umbrellas, beach towels etc. are there.

Richard was a great host, responding promptly and with customer-oriented approach. We definitely recommend this place for families and groups up to 4 people.

P.S. Oh, the bike and the guitar were a nice bonus :))))

Lovely apartment, stunning views

Super comfortable and spacious apartment with fabulous views across Boka Bay. The local agents were very efficient and helpful. There's a handy local supermarket and bakery and some nice restaurants nearby. Overall a great base and a lovely place to relax.

Immaculate apartment with amazing views

Apartment was immaculate & ready for our early arrival. Photo's don't do it justice, it's much brighter with beautiful views across the Bay. Great welcome from Daniel, very helpful & bonus to be able to order shopping in advance so fridge well stocked. Thank you to Mira for organising it & our transfers. Steep hill to apartment but we thought it a worthwhile payoff for the amazing view. Wonderful to sit on the balcony with a beer & the scenery.

Coast / Beach:

Kotor Bay fjorden er en bare noen få minutters gange.

Reise:

Tivat er den nærmeste flyplassen, ca 12kms unna, og tar ca 20 minutter i en bil eller taxi. Dette er tjent med Montenegro Airlines, og fra juni 2016 av Easyjet (fra London Gatwick og Manchester).

Et annet alternativ er å fly til Dubrovnik (Kroatia), 65kms unna, som tar ca 1.30 å kjøre. Fly til Dubrovnik fra Storbritannia er levert av BA, og Easyjet.

Et tredje alternativ er å fly til Podgorica flyplass. Dette er 95kms unna og tar ca 1h45 å kjøre. Dette er tjent med Ryanair og Montenegro Airlines.

Leiebil anbefales, men drosjer er rikelig og kan lett ordnes for alle transport til flyplassen.
