The journey began when the Price & Pease families decided that a Cyprus holiday home was a must after several happy holidays in the area. This decision has been followed by many years of planning and some disappointments on the way.
The structure, locally known as ‘The Shell’, stood incomplete for 5 years due to the Cypriot government planning to put a motorway through the house and land. After many discussions by the authorities this road project was abandoned and building work allowed to begin again.
Due to the scale of the project it was decided that some extra help was required, so the Rawlings and Hodgson families then came on board after visiting Lania village and falling in love with the area and Cypriot way of life.
The team now consists of four couples who have a passion for Cyprus and its way of life.
The Cypriots have a saying ‘Siga siga’ which means slowly slowly so if you want a slow and restful place to go Agora Villa will provide you with that place.

Agora Villa has 5 en suite bedrooms and the accommodation is arranged over two floors.
The ground floor has a large L-shaped open plan living space comprising of a well equipped kitchen with washer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, tall fridge-freezer and ceramic electric hob with oven/grill and a large dinning table close to the kitchen. There is access to the terrace via 3 patio doors and main side entrance door.

Plentiful seating to the lounge area with WiFi, smart TV, DVD player. Leading off the lounge is a ground floor double bedroom with a walk-in en suite wet room, built-in wardrobe and independent easy excess to the outside patio.
Access to the upper floor is via a double width grand marble stairway leading to a large landing and relaxing area. Leading from here are 4 spacious bedrooms all with en suite facilities, built in wardrobes with dressing table vanity unit built in, air conditioning, ceiling fans and private balcony; comprising of 3 doubles with shower, washbasin and WC and 1 triple with bath/shower, WC and washbasin. Each room has its own key coded safe programmed with its own unique code during the stay.

The villa has two large sun terraces surrounded by glass balustrades providing incredible views across the Troodos foothills. A stunning 10m x 5m swimming pool plus 8 sunbeds helps you to relax and enjoy the wonderful Cyprus climate all year round.
The east side of the villa is shaded and this offers a cool area for games or just to take a break from the sun. There is a shaded BBQ area and outdoor furniture.
Provided are towels, including beach towels, sheets, duvets, pillows, all the amenities needed for a relaxing retreat.
For stays longer than 1 week a change of towels and linen is available; please enquire with owner.

The drive has ample parking for several cars, making entry and exit very easy on to the little used local roadway. There is room to drive down to the side main entrance allowing easy access for heavy luggage.

Laneia is a traditional picturesque Cypriot village only a short drive or 15-20 min stroll from the villa and has many original features with narrow colourful streets. There are four taverna/cafe bars to choose from if you wish to eat or enjoy a drink out.

Agora Villa is new to the rental market, fresh in appearance due to it being recently completed. The villa is centrally located allowing guests to explore Cyprus at their leisure, choosing days out to do the things they enjoy or just relaxing by the pool.
