Sjarmerende Island House W / Causeway, på Beautiful Salt Pond

High Point combines spectacular views with unparalleled outdoor living. Watch the boats go by on the deck while being visited by humming birds in the well manicured gardens. The private dock gives you immediate access to the pond and Block Island sound. The house has an extremely well equipped kitchen and a very large living area. This house is a local treasure and we feel lucky we found it on home away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a perfect house for relaxing. The outdoor patio views of the boats and the backyard a peaceful setting. Great landscape but the landscaper does come unannounced every other day. She was super nice and talked about all the flowers. We saw her at the bottom of the property relaxing and figured out that was the spot to be. Although it is rocky- so definitely wear water shoes... the water was perfect and clear and it was a small mini beach of shells and rocks to ourselves. We loved it. We docked our jet skis on the dock and had ocean access in minutes. The house was also fully packed with everything you could possibly need. We way overpacked. Advice- don't go shopping until you get there. We obviously replaced everything we used but we didn't need to bring everything we brought. There was plenty of parking and the house itself was really cute. The upstairs does get hot with no AC but you get a breeze and there are plenty of fans. The outside shower is amazing and I wish I could take a shower in that every day. The transition from the backyard to front yard was tricky (and dangerous) so we just went through the house. I loved this house and will definitely return. Trina was great to work with very responsive. We will definitely be back to High Point again.

Our family just completed another great week of vacation at High Point. This unique property is situated to provide 340 degree water views while still affording privacy. There are two patios/decks that let you enjoy the sunshine as you dine or sit and relax while watching the boats pass by. The property is well maintained with lovely flower gardens everywhere you look. It is a cozy and inviting place to vacation. Lots of kitchen supplies and a gas grill for the cook.

East Matunuck beach is literally minutes away, but we recommend you take an extra 15 minutes to visit East Beach which is less crowded but equally beautiful. Get there early as parking is limited. Don't miss the Matunuck Oyster bar for great seafood. The Block Island Ferry is close by for an easy day trip.

The family has vacationed at High Point for the past 5 years. Great private location with water views from every window. Two miles to East Matunuk State Beach. Paddling and swimming in the cove on the Salt Pond. Very nice house on a one-of-a-kind setting. We look forward to vacationing at this spot every year.

Our stay was very pleasant - the house was extremely clean on arrival including fresh flowers on the table. Bedding was comfortable and plenty of fresh towels. The back patio area is perfect for dinner and the views from any side of the house outstanding! We bought local seafood at Snug Harbor Marina - you can walk there for a cup of coffee in the am if you like - and the quality and pricing was great.

One drawback was the single bath - also the yard is buggy if the winds not up.
