Wonderful, beach front condo in Playa Hermosa!

We had an amazing in stay in the condo 1A. Everything was as described. Pool and grounds were really maintained. We did have a problem with the AC, it had the burning rubber smell, which caused the back bedroom to be really warm at night. Gustavo responded promptly and had maintenance come take a look at it. They fixed a couple of things and burning smell was gone. The back bedroom was till rather warm at night, so I think it may need to be looked into further. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hope to be back in the near future!

Great location at Playa Hermosa

We are a family of four and this was our first time to Costa Rica and we had a great time and now prefer it to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. From the time of booking to check out, Zindis did a great job and was very responsive (thank you Grethel!) and helped seamlessly arrange a number of excursions with Tico Tours (thank you Luigi!). There are many restaurants within walking distance just a few hundred meters from the condo - we did not have a bad meal the entire time we were there. The pool was terrific in the mid/late afternoon once the heat of the day passed. Highly recommend for a family that wants some adventure and being in a town vs a resort with amenities like a kitchen, some beach toys, and a place to crash and relax after a day in the heat.

Ocean Front Condo - Great for Couples

We reserved this condo well ahead of our stay. Our arrival at the property was a bit off. You need to provide your itinerary to the management agency prior to arriving in Costa Rica. Upon our arrival, we were early, however, the check-in time on our paperwork was for 12:00 pm. Once there the actual check-in was at 3:00 pm. Grethal went out of her way to attempt to make things right and this was a minor glitch. Once we were allowed to take possession of the Condo - we quickly discovered the elevator was not operational. Glad we are all able-bodied and could carry all our luggage up to the third floor. The air-conditioning in the unit was also not fully operational. The Master bedroom became quite warm and stagnant when the door was closed. These are minor complaints in an otherwise exceptional stay. There were three couples and we all enjoyed our stay and the area in Playa Hermosa. We would recommend and would stay here again in the future.

Great condo on the beach

We were a party of 5 and this roomy condo was a great fit for us. The bedrooms were private. Two of them had private bathrooms. The common area was roomy and the kitchen was well appointed. Spices and cooking oil were provided. Beds were very comfy. Water pressure is not as good as we would have liked and the shower heads could use a dowsing with some vinegar and baking soda. There were enough towels provided and they were very nice and fluffy. For the beach, they provided lots of beach towels, some chairs and some floaties. The condo was clean and in good condition. We did feel that there was a lack of back up paper goods -- each bathroom was given just 1 extra roll of toilet paper for our 9 night stay and we were given just 1 roll of paper towels and no kleenex. The condo is located on the 3rd floor -- when we booked 1A, we assumed it was a ground unit but it is a top floor unit. It faces the beach and one of the bedrooms has sliding doors that open up to the beach view. You can hear the waves from everywhere in the condo. The property is gated and has a 24 hr guard and we felt very safe there. The pool is very nice but does not get afternoon sun. If you want to get sun by the pool, you need to go in the morning. We rarely saw our neighbors and it was very quiet there. We were walking distance to several restaurants. There was 1 to the left and several to the right. Aqua Bar is the closest, probably a 5-7 minute walk. Hotel El Valero has a BBQ on Wed & Fri from 6-10. The property management company partnered with Tico Tours and we were able to book our excursions and transportation with them. We did not have a car and found it fairly easy to call for a ride. There is a small store about a 10 minute walk away and a larger one about 20 minutes walking. We had a mixup with our checkout time -- when we checked in, we communicated that we had arranged for airport pickup at 2:30 p.m. for our 5:00 flight and were told that our house manager would meet us at 2:15 to pickup keys. 3 days before departure, we were contacted by management and told that our checkout time was 10:00 a.m. We would have appreciated knowing the checkout time earlier in our trip.

Great family vacation!!

This is our first time in Costa Rica. The condo was great! It was a total of 6 of us (including two boys 6 and 2). They were able to help us out with a pack and play for our little one. The location is great! Playa Hermosa is perfect! We only got one day of rain out of 7 (not too bad for rainy season). We did have a slight problem with my 2 year old locking himself in a closet with no key to be found. So thankful for the Zardis management and their handy man who came to the rescue! We traveled to Latin American and Mexico in the past and our only disappointment with Costa Rica is food prices. Too high for what we were expecting. Food is good, but pricy! The pool is great, my boys loved it! It was always quiet at the beach and pool. Hardly anyone around. We ate pretty much at all the restaurants on the beach and a few in playa Coco and Tamarindo. All good except, I did not like my food at Robertos. Even the pizza at Aqua Sport was yummy. The grocery store we liked was at the Coco beach, 20-30 mins away. Just down the beach to your left you will find Cesar who is very useful in getting you on a boat (We went for a 3 hrs ride and snorkel. We saw some sea turtles as well). We overall loved the condo, clean, great furnishings, big showers. The balcony is big and very comfortable outdoor chairs. The view no so great due to the trees blocking it. Loved playa hermosa and it's super clean!
