We had an absolutely fantastic month on Barefoot Beach. It would be difficult to find a better property. The condo was everything we were hoping for and more. Hard to beat a beautiful sunset out the front window every evening.

Bottom line is I wish I owned it. I would return every year if it was available.

My wife and I are just finishing a three-month stay at this beautiful condo on Barefoot Beach. The condo is fantastic. It's very large (at over 1700 square feet, plus a large lanai, it has as much room as a house); beautifully decorated with a light, nautical theme; very comfortably furnished; and impeccably clean. The location is nothing short of amazing. Between living room windows and screened lanai, the condo has about about 30 feet of floor-to-ceiling views directly onto the beach and the Gulf. The building is right on the beach, so sitting on the lanai feels like sitting on the beach, with the sounds of the waves, gulls, and ospreys. Barefoot Beach is a great walking beach, and about a mile south along the beach is a wildlife preserve with shaded trails. Even during spring break week, the beach never got crowded. If you enjoy walking, this beach is paradise. Because we've rented on Barefoot Beach before, we knew what to expect in terms of accommodations and location. The delightful surprise with this particular rental was the responsiveness and genuine hospitality of the owners and the person who manages the booking for them. From my first inquiry on VRBO, they have been tremendously responsive, answering questions literally within minutes. And when we had to change our travel plans, the owners went out of their way to help us, much more than I could have expected. We genuinely felt like guests in this beautiful home in paradise.

I really can't say enough about this place. For semi-retirees like us, spending three months here, walking the beach every day and watching sunsets over the water every night has been like a dream.

My title sums it up 'Magnificent' - you have to visit to fully grasp the wonderfulness of the condo, the community, the scenery, the nature preserve just a short beach walk away, the private beach, endless dolphin watching from your screened lanai, multiple heated pools in case it is a windy/chilly day. Truly a splendid place!
