The unit was as advertised. Location was very convenient to both walking and public transport.

The unit was well appointed and Simon, the property manager, was very helpful and prompt in responding to issues he could control. The presentation omitted the fact that there was heavy construction underway on the building and on the two buildings next door from 8 am to 6 pm Mon to Fri plus Sat to noon. Double glazing plus heavy drapes did not damped the noise sufficiently to stay there all day. Open windows were completely out of the question. Even on rainy days we left just for a respite from the constant noise. This was a major negative.

We do state the construction is ongoing in the immediate area on the property listing, and in our offer emails, and also in our pricing. It is made clear that the price is discounted to take it into account. This is all before you book Unfortunately not everybody pays attention to the detail that I give, even when it is just a few lines. And then it is reconfirmed in my arrival directions which include up to date photos. So we draw attention to it more than once. As other reviews state (so many of them mention the construction, so it is very obvious in our reviews too) but say that it did not unduly bother them,. I can only conclude therefore that your stay must have coincided with some nosier than normal work for a period. And as you point out, that is not in my control (wish it was!)

Fantastic stay

Our family of 4 stayed at this apartment for a week. The apartment wasvperfectly located within walking distance to many tourist sites in London. We absolutely loved the location. The design of the apartment was like a town house, living room/dining room, separate kitchen downstairs,, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. The apartment was bright, clean, modern and spacious. We absolutely loved the apartment. Si, the rental manager, and his assistant were very nice. Si replied to my emails promptly and explained everything really well. They met us st the apartment, even carried our bags upstairs and gave us a full tour of the apartment. Master bedroom had king size bed, really comfortable and beautifully furnished. There was construction around the building which we were informed of before we booked the apartment. The construction didn't bother us at all. We loved this apartment and will definitely stay there next time we are in London.

Great Location!

Our stay at this apartment was wonderful. Simon was waiting for us when we arrived, and went through all the details of the rental. The location was perfect – within a few minutes walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, and quaint little streets of Soho. The apartment had tons of space and all the amenities you can think of. The construction going on around the building (which Simon had forewarned us about) turned out to be a total non-event for us – it didn’t bother us in the least. No noise or inconvenience (the apartment is very soundproof). We loved coming “home” and relaxing after a busy day sight-seeing.

Great Apartment for a family

My family and I enjoyed our stay here.  The apartment is in an excellent location.  Lots of restaurants and entertainment choices are close by.  Very short walk to the tube station and bus stops.  The Wifi worked perfectly.  It was spacious, clean and well-equipped with soaps, shampoo, maps, guide books and cooking utensils.  During our time the flat was very quiet.  Si James met us as planned and helped us get settled including walking us through all our groups wifi connections.  He gave us hints for shopping and restaurants.  A brilliant choice for our family's first experience of London.

Two week stay over the Christmas Holiday

My teenaged daughters and I spent two weeks in one of Si's apartments (Dec.16-30). The location is excellent - just a minute or two from Tottenham Court Road tube station, and within walking distance to many West End theatres. Our unit was well laid out, with two good-sized bedrooms upstairs, as well as a full and a half bath. The living room is very comfortable. The television and WiFi worked well. Apart from the construction noise (from roughly 8 am to 6 pm weekdays), the building is very quiet. Si and his housekeeper were very attentive and readily available to answer any questions. I would definitely stay here again, without reservation.

comfortable, quiet place

This positive experience was marred by the fact that I was bitten by bedbugs in the double bed of the back bedroom. My sister in the other bedroom was fine.

We will keep this review LIVE so future guests can see we take ACTION when issues are raised, even if the problem reported could be caused by outside factors. Thank you for posting this review and bringing this to my attention. As the review is initially showing as anonymous at our end, I am having to guess which guest I am responding to. I welcome you to contact me directly to be of further assistance, as you did not mention this to us at any time and I do wish to clarify the source of your problem. We think it is highly unlikely that you got bed bug bites from this property, for the following reasons: 1. The guests in before you were in the flat for over a month and made no comment on this 2. My assistant and I stayed in the property the night before your arrival, as there was a train strike on the day of your arrival. Neither of us were bitten then, or had any reactions since. 3. The current guests in place have not made any comments on this. I believe your sister was travelling here from another stay elsewhere in the UK, so it is possible she had picked them up enroute. If this is the case, perhaps you would be so kind to contact me to confirm the latest situation with your sister.
