Lovely property in a quiet location
We stayed here for 9 nights in August, the location is a quiet sleepy village. The property is in excellent condition, with all the amenities we needed - linen, towels and some essential food items. Eurico respects the privacy of his guests, but is easy to contact if you have any questions. The pool is a very short walk from the house (approx 50 metres). It’s a beautiful private spot with fantastic views over the countryside - we found this a perfect place for the family to relax. If you’re looking for somewhere to escape and recharge in a homely setting, it meets all the criteria. Thank you so much Eurico, we hope to return next year!

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Region
Das Haus von Eurico war nach Porto die zweite Station unserer Portugal-Reise und für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Region zwischen Porto und Lissabon zu erkunden.
Das Haus war sauber, voll ausgestattet (inkl. Spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, WiFi, Klimaanlage...) und liegt ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf. Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich noch das Haus der Eltern und es gibt nur einige wenige Nachbarhäuser. Man findet hier also sehr viel Ruhe und Entspannung!
Der Pool befindet sich auf dem großen Grundstück (allerdings nicht unmittelbar am Haus) und ist zur Alleinbenutzung reserviert. So einen Luxus hatten wir noch nie - unsere Kinder haben sich jeden Tag darauf gefreut!
Das Dorf selbst hat keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurants, hier muss man ein paar Kilometer in die umliegenden Ortschaften fahren - ein Auto ist also ein Muss. In diesem Zusammenhang ist es schön, dass jeden Morgen gegen 08:00 Uhr ein Bäcker-Wagen bis fast zum Haus fährt und man sich hier mit frischen und noch warmen Brot versorgen kann.
Ansonsten hat Eurico als guter Gastgeber jede Menge Tipps und Hinweise für Ausflüge, Wanderungen, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Kommunikation mit Eurico war vorab und während unseres Aufenthalts problemlos, da er sehr gut englisch spricht (besser als ich...).
Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, die fünf Tage waren definitiv zu kurz!

Excellent location very high specs away from it all didn't want to leave
Very well equipped modern property the pool is a bonus on hot days plenty of parking space well catered for for self catering Eurico provided a wealth of information as guides etc even the use of a free GPS with a multitude of destinations already loaded also met his parents who helped us settle in on arrival nothing too much trouble
