We loved our stay here. Just loved it. Two weeks of relaxation in a beautiful spot. The house is as described: rustic but comfortable, and with some nice modern design touches. Incredible views of Round Pond, a working lobstermen’s and recreational harbor. You’ll hear the boats going out early, but that just ensures you don’t miss the stunning sunrises. A short walk into the village gets you coffee at Round Pond Coffee or ice cream in the evening behind Granite Hall (with the rest of village; it’s very social). The line-wired gas Weber grill is a delight, as are meals on the screen porch. Not advertised is that the back porch patio roof is a mossy living roof, very cool. And the landscaping is low key, well-maintained, and delightful. The house is well-stocked and clearly well-loved.
