Disappointment
The overall impression of this property is lovely!’when we go abroad we always try to stay in places like this. When we arrived we couldn’t find the property. Didn’t know if we were looking for a small apartment or a block. No one to greet us. We phoned and phoned no one answered as it was a no number tone. We went to the Nautilus and the manager tried to help. With his Spanish phone he still could not get through to the number. When we found the block we then had to find the way in . Security told us where the apartment was so we walked over and spoke to a very nice lady next door who tried to phone the owner, without success. It was late ,We ate at th Nautilus, looked for a hotel on the iPad and stayed the night in a hotel which cost 78 euros for the night! Next day we tried again. My husband had trouble getting the VRBO helpline and when he eventually did they told him somebody would be with us in about 1-3 hours. It was now about 2 in the afternoon. We sat on the table in the garden and waited. Allsdy turned up who said she was meeting us on behalf of a friend. We were pleased to see her. And she let us in the property but it had spoiled the beginning of our week. After that we had a nice time. It would be an idea for a small map of the area around the nautilus and all the blocks to be able to see the different names. We liked the apartment and loved that it was so near the sea and would definitely like to go back. I don’t know if the mistake was made by the owner or VRBO. But it was quite stressful at the time! Your apartment is lovely. We did not cook as we ate out all the time but the TV was brilliant as my husband could watch the World Cup. Thankyou and hope there is a bit of compensation as the hotel was quite dear. Thankyou. Lyndia
